Water and Sanitation - Sustainable Development Goal 6

Gambar
" Water and sanitation are at the core of sustainable development, and the range of services they provide underpin poverty reduction, economic growth and environmental sustainability. However, in recent decades overexploitation, pollution, and climate change have led to severe water stress in locales across the world." Based on the infographic above, we must realize that today, 2.2 billion people lack access to safely managed drinking water, and more than 3.5 billion people lack safely managed sanitation. Climate change is worsening the situation, with increasing disasters such as floods and droughts. 80% of wastewater in the world flows back into the ecosystem without being treated or reused, and 70% of the world’s natural wetland extent has been lost, including a significant loss of freshwater species. 2.4 billion people lived in water stressed countries, and the number will continue to grow if we didn't do anything. So n ow, more than ever...

Student's Leadership Basic Training

Hi! Do you know about Student's Leadership Basic Training? Introduction        Student's Leadership Basic Training is a school program that help builds student's character. Tenth graders of SMAN 3 Bandung have just completed their Student's Leadership Basic Training. It was held in Pusdikajen Ditajenad. We spent 3 days and 2 nights there. As soon as we arrived, we immediately had to take part in various activities that had been set according to the schedule. Objectively speaking, SLBT is tiring -haha - but you can't deny the fact that it contains a lot of core memory. Argument 1     The shocking part of SLBT is when we suddenly have to lie down to do push ups and other exercise on the spot. Sometimes, so suddenly after we finish eating, at the wet asphalt rock, or literally on a sloping hill. Another thing that a lot of students dislike is dining time. The reason is because we are forced to eat in a very limited amount of time and there are also a lo...

2024's commitment

Hi! Can't believe its 2024 already, and I've been a student in Smanti for 6 months. Last year, we've gone through so many things. Parting with our friends, and then meet a lot of new friends. Being a senior in junior high school, and then back to being a junior in senior high school.  Take a little bit step back from that, I can see myself smiling for achieving one of my proudest achievements, which is graduating as the top three best student in class of 2023, in terms of academic.  Entering a new chapter in smanti, is not as easy as it seems. Last year, we've gone through a period of adaptation. Lots of failure, lots of disappointment, lost with your own self, questioning your life decision. But hey, that's just a part of our life. You're not gonna stuck on that phase for your whole life, and so, this year is the time for a true comeback! My 2024' commitments are: • Fight with my own self (don't let procrastination make me far from my goals and respons...

He was then appointed by the Emergency Government of the Republic of Indonesia as the Governor of West Java while replacing R. Mas Sewaka. As for his work during his time as mayor is a bridge that stands on the Citarum Dayeuh Kolot River. Swedish Breakfast

Gambar
Unique Facts about Swedes' Breakfast Culture Let's start from clearing up the myths. Despite the crazy popularity of the Swedish meatballs (hello, Ikea!) and Swedish pancakes around the world, they are not eaten for breakfast. Most Swedes generally like to eat the same type of breakfast every day. It should be mentioned that Swedes eat their breakfast at home; going out for the first meal of the day is an unusual thing. The average Swedish breakfast consists of two slices of bread with butter and cheese, a boiled egg, and a cup of drip coffee, with yogurt / sour milk. Swedish sandwich is called smörgås. Smörgås is a compound word with smör meaning butter and gås meaning goose. How come these two words were combined? There is no one answer, but people have a few theories. One is that while the butter was being churned it looked like a goose. Another is that goose was perhaps a popular topping for Swedes a long time ago. Whatever the case, smörgås is now the most common way to de...
